RELEASE DATE: APRIL 23RD 2010

This album is basically the story of a bunch of guys and girls going to the deepest and the darkest woods possible to make an outstanding show all night long. There are three parts to the album:

  • 12:00 AM (More pure rock with some punk in it)
  • 2:00 AM (More industrial and dark)
  • 4:00 AM (More experimental)
All the songs are made by myself, but the cover is made by Jod.drummer, or Jovan Cvetkovic.

    CHAPTER ONE : 12 :00 AM

First chapter of three. Everything is getting started, but it’s starting fast. It all begins with Time to Get Awesome, a song to wake up those who were sleeping already. Then, we got “Long Hair in the Face”, that reflects pretty much the idea of that moment: let’s rock the fuck out of there. The following song is a great dancing one that had great comments all around; “We Won’t Sleep We’ll Dance”. The beat is pretty awesome and I’m very proud of this one, has it been the first full song I’ve done. Then it all ends with a nice anthem to my home town, “Saint-Rédempteur (Kicks Asses)”. Not as rude as the rest, but it has a great constant beat on drum and really catchy riffs.

    CHAPTER TWO: 2:00 AM

Well it’s 2:00 am and I personally don’t trust what’s going on outside… This chapter is the darkest one, introduced by “On my Way”, which makes a clear transition between the partying/dancing and the aggressiveness. It got a very constant beat under which it builds up. It then goes with “The Machine” and it's catchy bass line, the shortest track but probably one of the most intense. Well actually, I guess there’s even more intense right after with the track “Zombies” that has a very solid intro. The last but not least track of this part is “Runaway”, which plays a lot with toms on verses but has an almost pop beat on drums in chorus, that quickly turns double-time and reflects that kind of special dark horror/pop touch that the chapter has.

    CHAPTER THREE: 4:00 AM

It’s the final chapter. Those of you that are still there will benefit of a more experimental part, starting with “Kill that Waltz” that makes 3/4 beats sounding great. It’s smoother than the previous track, but there are great transitions between fast and slow, slam and waltz. It’s then followed by a heavy track named “She Won’t Smile”. The bass drum is very present on that track. We got heavy synths, heavy guitars... well yeah it's pretty much heavy everywhere... Once we’re done with this one, we go to “Here Comes the Revolution II”.  Nice intro, but unlike all the songs on that last part, the instruments used are very limited; one guitar (Slayer) and drums. But don’t worry; everything goes back to normal with tons of instruments on the very last track, “The Feeling of my Face Kissing the Windshield on High Speed”. It’s the longest one and I’m pretty proud of it. The drum beat on that one is pretty unique and there are a LOT of instruments that are used. I just wanted to end on a very experimental and fucked up note, which I managed to do I guess!

Picture
"You Won't Know" is an EP that I have been working on mostly in the months after the release of Tonight Is the Night. The four main tracks are a logical extension of the sound of the very last song of TITN, "The Feeling Of My Face Kissing The Windshield On High Speed". There are synths, viiolons, hand claps, distortion... a dark clusterfuck to blow your mind for a great 18 and something minutes. This is my last album using Fruity Loops; I will from now on experiment with new softwares to get a new sound. Still, I wanted to give there tracks their chance to be released. The album starts up with a very short intro (beraly 20-ish seconds)  followed by "Upcoming" that gives a fast raw sound to the album. The last note goes on as the dance-rock "Gonna Catch Your Eye". Next is the proggressive "Car Crashes" that leads you to a blast off finale. And to wrap it up, my personal favorite "Crossing Oceans" will bring you through the chaotic seas to lead you to good port.
